227: The Fleetwood Paints All-Ireland Amateur Painting Competition- Qualifier

Indoor Classes ➤ Indoor Qualifier Sun 13th Jul 2025

Rules & Conditions:

  1. Paintings must be the sole work of the exhibitor who must have amateur status.
  2. Paintings to depict an Agricultural or Rural setting.
  3. Paintings must measure no more than 24”x 20” including the frame.
  4. All paintings must be ready to hang, that is framed & with a hanging cord attached.
  5. The Judge’s decision WILL BE FINAL
  6. All entries to be exhibited at owner’s risk.
  7. All entries to have amateur status as defined by the following: Not to have had a commercial solo exhibition: Not to have exhibited in a commercial gallery: Not to be teaching or have taught art in any form
  8. In the event of an objection & following an investigation & if the exhibitor is deemed to be making their living from their profession, they may be disqualified.
  9. Qualifying Exhibit(s) to be photographed by the relevant qualifying show.
  10. Secretaries to forward same to The National Secretary in advance of the Final.
  11. The same painting that qualifies at the qualifying show must be exhibited at the final.
  12. An exhibitor can only qualify One Exhibit for the All-Ireland Final
  13. To avoid any confusion could exhibitors print their name and phone No. on a lable and attach to back of painting
  14. These rules should be read in conjunction with the I.S.A. rules

Final at Virginia Show – Wednesday 20th August 2025.

Indoor Classes - Opening Notes

All entries to be submitted on www.mullingaragrishow.com

Entries will not be taken on the day

When unloading Exhibits please be mindful of others

All exhibits must be in place by 10.30am on Show morning. All exhibitors please ensure that class numbers are secured on their exhibits.

Judging commences at 11am sharp

No persons will be allowed to remain in the Indoor Section while judging is in progress, except for those officially retained

Judges Decision will be final in all classes

All Exhibits must remain in place until 4.30pm.

When taking out exhibits please give exhibit ticket to the Steward and they will give you your exhibit. 

The Committee accept no responsibility for loss or Damage of any exhibit.

Prize Allocation Rules

  • Where there are no more than two entries Classes will be amalgamanated or cancelled at the shows discretion.
  • Where entries total 3 or fewer, only 1st place prize money will be awarded.
  • Where entries total more than 4 or more 1st, 2nd & 3rd place prize money will be awarded.
  • Prizemoney will be PAID out on the day of the show.

No entries permitted on day of event.
